You might have a big question about what Yoostar is. Basically Yoostar is a toy that can give fun, education and also means to expand the creativity of your children. Yoostar is a game consists of movie maker equipments that your children can use to make their own movie.

Not really making their own movie because they will only replace the actors or figures in a movie or television clips with their selves. With the software provided by Yoostar, the actors and the figures are digitally erased, then with the help of teleprompter and green screen you will only need to act like the actors n the clips. The airport is 3-4 miles from the town of Larnaca and takes around 15 minutes by car.
The airport lies on a motorway/expressway which takes you straight into the town.
If you were ever to need any help with your transport links once you have arrived in the airport, there is a Tourist Information Desk to help you out. There are also ATM facilities, shops and cafes and other standard
facilities, should you need them.
There are a few methods of transport to get you to your destination in Larnaca. A range of bus services run through the day from the airport and are usually every hour (Monday – Friday). Taxis and minibuses can also be prebooked from the airport or picked up once you get there.
If you are looking at hiring a car, there are a range of big name car hire firms in the arrivals lounge. Given the popularity of car hire, you may want to book your vehicle in advance to avoid disappointment. You could even arrange to pick your car up in Larnaca itself if that is of more convenience to you.
To hire a car you will need your full driving license and be over the age of 21 (or have been driving for three years).
In Cyprus, they drive on the left hand side of the road just like in the UK! Also, many road signs are also in English.
Getting around the country by bus is also fairly simple. Always make sure you visit a tourist information office before you travel to check for any changes. There are many buses running to the other large towns surrounding Larnaca on a regular basis and also less frequent routes to rural villages.
Not all services are available on a Sunday so may have to make alternative arrangements.

Creating a nice place or good neighbourhood to live is everybody’s job. So, if you find that your neighbourhood is no longer a good place to live, moving is not a solution. What becomes the solution is figuring something out to make your neighbourhood a better place to live as it used to be. You can start it by yourself first, ask your family to join you, then tell your friend and let your neighbours know about your actions. As long as you people who are walking in the same directions with you a good neighbourhood are not only a daydream, you can create it and keep it that way for the rest of your life.

You must realize that global warming issue becomes hot topic among people today. It is actually a wakeup call for everybody to stop thinking about yourself and start to reconsider anything that might happen in your environment. A good neighbourhood is coming for some good people who realize the need to keep their neighbourhood as a good place to live. There are some actions that you can do today related to green police. As what NYPD did recently, this police division is purchasing a number of hybrid cars to replace their current patrol cars. You can follow this idea and apply it to your neighbourhood. Further, there are a lot of things that you can do such as growing your own organic food in your backyard or ask people to join your green community to plant some tress regularly to make your neighbourhood a greener.

You will be amazed how a simple action that you start today could provide you a nice, health and good place to live for the rest of your life. So, don’t hesitate, take some actions today to make this world a better place to live.

There have been inhabitants in Larnaca since it was originally founded. Very few places in the world can offer such an insight into history over the centuries.

There are influences from all different culture including the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Romans, the Persians, the Byzantines, the Turks and the British.

When the British began their rule of Cyprus in 1878, they used Larnaca as their point of entry. The British ruled the island until 1960. In the 1970’s, Turkey invaded the island and Larnaca’s population increased dramatically due to the Greek Cypriot refugees of Northern Cyprus, driven out by the Turks during the partition years. This also makes Larnaca’s cultural influences more Christian than Turkish.

Nowadays, Larnaca remains an important point of entry to the country with its large port and International Airport.
The true culture of Larnaca can be seen through various festivals and cultural event that take place throughout the year. These include:
• Arts festivals including summer music and performing arts that attract both national and international performers.
• Religious Events in particular events to celebrate the beginning and end of Lent.
• General Festivals including Europe Day in May.

Step 5 – Stopping: When they are used to stopping with their feet, get them to practise with the brakes.
Make sure they know which brake works which wheel. Remind them to use the back brake first so they don’t go over the handlebars!
Step 6 – Now pedal: Once they have mastered coasting, steering and braking, replace the pedals and ask them to rest their feet on the pedals as they coast. When this feels natural, encourage them to pedal. This might take an hour, a few hours, or even a few days – just remember to take it at their pace.
Step 7 – Steering: When they can pedal, encourage them to turn the handlebars to one side and ride around you in a circle. Remember to tell them to look where they want to go and to turn the handlebars in that direction.
Step 8 – Practice: Like anything, the more they ride their bike, the better they’ll get.
My kids are too young to ride
Don’t forget that even if your kids are too young to ride a bike they may be able to enjoy the outing in a child seat or bike child trailer. Advice and guidance on the correct seat or carrier and the age from which children are able to go in these should be obtained from cycle retailers.

As a parent or carer, you know your children and may feel confident teaching them the basics. If not, check
out the national cycle training scheme Bikeability (www.bikeability.org.uk), designed to teach children and adults to ride.
If you are going to teach the kids yourself, here are some steps to help you:
Step 1 – Lose the pedals: 90% of riding is about balance. Most adults will have learnt to ride with stabilisers, but experts now think they delay the learning process because they do all the balancing.
A learner bike – which has no pedals so they can’t hit the learner’s legs – or a regular bike with the pedals taken off is the quickest way to get them riding.
Step 2 – Get ready: Make sure the learner can put both feet on the floor. They should wear a helmet and be prepared for scrapes by wearing long-sleeved tops and trousers.
Step 3 – Getting going: Find a smooth area and stand 5-10 metres away from the learner. Ask them to stand with one leg either side of the bike and, pushing with their feet, to steer towards you. Tell them to keep pushing and look at you instead of the ground – it will help them to go straight. To begin with, get them to use their feet for stopping.
Step 4 – Keeping going: At this stage the learner is likely to push along with their feet the whole way.
Get them to repeat the exercise but this time see if they can coast without using their feet some of the way. As they get better they’ll go further and rely less on using their feet.
